Easter!

Easter!

God came early to the tomb
Cool dew on the rocks
Soldiers asleep
Deadly quiet.

One more grieving parent:
“Too young to die”
“So horribly!”
Heartbroken.

Roaring “This cannot be”
Rolling back stone
Stepping inside
“Outta here!”

Now our turn has come
Disbelieving still
Yet shouting
“Risen!”
